In my clinical work, I conceptualize from a multi-theoretical perspective which includes Gestalt, Humanistic, Buddhist, Interpersonal and Cognitive theories. I am a practical therapist and I utilize a myriad of approaches to help my clients reach specific goals. I practice from a feminist and multicultural philosophy of treatment. My professional interests include working with graduate students, identity development, shame and substance use. I have extensive experience providing both group psychotherapy, and clinical supervision.
I am a newcomer to the Pacific Northwest and I moved here specifically so I could have the opportunity to camp, hike, bike, birdwatch, walk my dog in the woods and enjoy life outdoors without humidity 🙂 I am also a knitter and an avid reader of fiction.
