While referring to your letter from the Center for Community Standards, review the appropriate section below for steps needed to fulfill the sanction assigned to you.
Exceptions/substitutions cannot be made. To successfully fulfill a sanction, the steps below need to be completed within one month. To help you fulfill your sanction, we will report your attendance and completion of the below requirements to the Center for Community Standards (CCS).
Steps to completion:
1. Register for a TOGETHER workshop session.
2. Complete the TOGETHER workshop session.
3. If needed, check back with CCS for any additional steps needed to fulfill your sanction.
TOGETHER Workshop Information:
The Center for Community Standards manages conduct holds. If you have completed your sanction, please contact their office to inquire about removing your hold. If you have not completed your sanction workshop, you will first need to do so in order to have your hold removed. Students can request a hold removed or challenge a conduct hold using the “Challenge an enrollment hold” form.
The TOGETHER Workshop is a small group or 1:1 session that focuses on reducing harms for student participants and for others in the WSU/Pullman community during the COVID-19 pandemic. This interactive, non-judgmental prevention “best practices” approach focuses on problem-solving, as well as examining students’ motivations and intentions for self-care and the care of others. In other words, “We’re all in this together!”
Late or Cancellation Policy
Cancellation: If you need to cancel a scheduled appointment, please let us know in advance so we can make the time available to someone else. If you don’t call to cancel by 4 p.m. the day prior to your scheduled workshop, this will be considered a late cancellation and will be documented.
Late & No‐Shows: Demand for services is high, and our facilitators’ time is valuable. If you show up for your workshop more than 5 minutes late, you will be required to reschedule to attend a TOGETHER workshop at a different day/time. A record of late or no-show workshops will be kept and shared with CCS as needed. If a students cancels, is late, or no-shows for a TOGETHER workshop up to two times, the student will be referred back to CCS to address their sanction requirements.
