El Nazarov works in harm reduction and recovery services. She is the program coordinator of Cougs for Recovery, the collegiate recovery organization of Washington State University. Before getting hired as a full-time staff member, El worked as an undergraduate student employee and peer recovery coach for the organization. She facilitated several programs, including recovery meetings, art nights, and free yoga classes. Her work now focuses on overdose prevention & awareness, classroom outreach & education, as well as connecting students & community members with recovery & well-being resources. She calls the Palouse home and has been a resident of Pullman since 2019.
