PA-C, Physician Assistant
She/her/hers
I am a physician assistant providing full spectrum primary care at Cougar Health Services.
I like to get to know my patients and work collaboratively on treatment plans that meet the individual needs of each patient. I like a big picture approach to concerns with my patients to provide the best possible care.
I graduated from the MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant program at the University of Washington in School of Medicine in Seattle in 2008. Initially working at the Family Medicine Residency in Boise, ID before moving to a critical access rural hospital where I provided both emergency and continuity care.
I switched gears in 2016 deciding specialize in sleep medicine where I took care of adult and pediatric patients with sleep-related disorders including narcolepsy, insomnia, hypersomnia, periotic limb movement disorder, REM behavior disorders and sleep disordered breathing.
Prior to becoming a PA I completed the paramedic sciences program at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, OR and earned a bachelor's degree in in health sciences from the University of Washington. I also worked for several years as a paramedic with ADA County EMS. Serving as and ALS provider on the county Haz-Mat and TAC-Med teams.
My spouse (3rd generation COUGAR), our two sweet dogs and I made the move back to the Palouse to be closer to family last year. We are currently getting settled and working on a house remodel!
I love to explore, and learn new things. I spend as much time as possible outside with friends and family. I am an avid snowboarder/skier, biker, and hiker and have been fortunate enough to have travel all over the world doing those activities. I love music and have been know to travel to random places catch my favorite artists.
I am excited to be a part of the university and Cougar Health!
