She/her/hers
I am a family practice physician.
I enjoy taking care of and empowering college students to care for themselves, be resourceful and identify what they need to be as healthy and successful as possible. I was an undergraduate and medical student at WSU, receiving compassionate care from physicians who later became my preceptors and colleagues. I did not receive medical care growing up for financial reasons. I wanted to become a physician to provide care, acceptance and compassion for others regardless of their situation.. My perspective is to always try to leave others better than I found them.
I earned a bachelors degree in psychology at WSU, did my first year of medical school as a WWAMI at WSU Pullman, then completed medical school at the UW in Seattle. I completed my residency at Family Medicine Spokane and took every opportunity possible to practice in rural communities in medical school and residency, I was in private practice for 8 years before joining Cougar Health Services in 2010.
