Testing for High School and Transfer Students
Our Testing Services staff support a broad community of learners by offering math placement test proctoring for high school students and students who have recently transferred to WSU.

Math Placement Exams
There are several math placement exams used by universities in Washington. Make sure you understand which math placement test is required by the institution you wish to attend.

ALEKS WSU Math Placement Exam
This test is for incoming Washington State University students. More details and records are available from the WSU Math Department.

COMPASS
COMPASS is used by some secondary education institutions, but not Washington State University. The COMPASS is not currently available at Testing Services but is offered at the Gladish Community Center in Pullman and University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho.
