I provide counseling to college students at WSU individualized to the student’s unique needs. I also perform psychological testing for students with concerns around ADHD, specific learning disorders, and other concerns around diagnostic testing.

In counseling, I work from a relational psychodynamic perspective, but I am also highly integrative and utilize many different therapeutic approaches. My core philosophy is to ensure that students get uniquely individualized care for their specific needs and goals. I work collaboratively with individual students to make sure that the treatment plan we create together is working to meet those goals. I value people’s past life experiences, recognizing that our pasts often influence who we are today, how we interact with others, and how we operate in the world around us. In providing supervision, I operate from both a developmental and collaborative framework.

I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2014 from Barton College (Wilson, NC), my master’s degree in experimental psychology in 2018 from Old Dominion University (Norfolk, VA), and my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 2022 from the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology (Norfolk, VA). I completed my doctoral internship here at WSU’s Counseling & Psychological Services in 2022 and am happy to have been able to stay in the Pullman/Palouse area. Throughout my training and experiences, I’ve had the opportunity to work with various diverse populations, including LGBTQ+ communities and populations, military veterans, BIPOC communities, non-traditional college students, first-generation and international students, religious/spiritual minority groups, people with disabilities, and more. While a variety of training opportunities have prepared me to work with most presenting concerns, I specialize in treating experiences of trauma, abuse/neglect, childhood trauma, relationship trauma, and assault, as well as interpersonal concerns and feelings of shame/self-doubt.

I’m originally from the west coast but spent most of my life growing up on the east coast. I’m happy to be back in a west coast state where I plan to stay. I love cooking and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. I’m a huge Star Wars fan, heavy metal music lover, videogame player, and reader of horror/suspense/thriller fiction (favorite author: Stephen King).
