Patricia Maarhuis has worked at Washington State University for over 20 years in student health services.  Currently, she is the State of Washington Collegiate Recovery Support Initiative (SWCRSI) Principal Investigator with a focus on state-wide implementation of recovery support programs, including oversight of the initiative evaluation and seed grant projects. Patricia has authored or edited publications and reports on the intersections between education, culture, and high-risk health experiences. She has called the Palouse her home since 2002.
